The Primary Division of Ballet SJ School is an open-enrollment ballet program, offering one class a week for students ages 3-11 years old. Classes in the Primary Division are open to all students in the appropriate age range with no audition required. Primary Division classes promote creativity and discipline while encouraging each child to reach their highest potential.
A pre-professional ballet training program for students ages 8 and older, classes in the Pre-Professional Division provide the ideal amount of training for students at every stage of development, as determined by the latest and most comprehensive studies of professional ballet training, dancer health, and child development. Class size is limited. Enrollment in the Pre-Professional Division of Ballet San Jose School is by audition only.
Classes in the Junior Division will focus on building a solid foundation in ballet technique with an emphasis on proper placement and safe progressions of movement while remaining sensitive to the developmental needs of younger dancers.
Intended for students who strive for the level of excellence required for a career in professional ballet, classes in the Senior Division will provide focused study in an elite atmosphere dedicated to the success of each student.
